Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of her earliest memories of childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999, to keep acting. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she met him in 2007 in an actor's workshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows in an Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on May 13, 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans her good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous online fan base on Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its success.
